The 2 Hottest Signals in GTM Tech
what they are and why they matter
What’s up, it’s Zayd.
Website intent and waterfall enrichment are two of the hottest things in GTM tech right now.
This week, I’m sharing what these signals do and why they matter, along with our plan to integrate them into Valley.

Website Intent and Waterfall Enrichment
These two signals are hot right now. Here’s what they do and how we’re incorporating this into the product at Valley.
Website Intent
Website intent is a new signal that’s been uncovered. And it’s incredible data.
Website intent gives you a feed of people visiting your website, in real time. In the new GTM playbook - which is based on personalization, relevance, and timing - having this data is massive.
As soon as they visit your site, you can get an outbound message out to them.
In the Clearbit generation of intent data, you’d see information like “someone at Ford visited my website” - but what can you really do with that?
Website intent gives you the individual LinkedIn profile of who visits - usually sent right to a Slack channel.
RB2B is one company that does this right now, but we plan to take it even further (more on this below). Our MVP will enter pilot testing soon, and we’ll have something in the product by the end of July.
Waterfall Enrichment
Clay is all the rage right now (they just raised a $46M Series B). They’re the leading waterfall enrichment product and a really cool piece of tech. (We use it ourselves.)
It allows you to consolidate all of the potential enrichments you’d want to do - across Google Maps, BuiltWith, etc. - to create these incredible outbound campaigns.
Again, in today’s outbound landscape, crafting personalized and relevant messages is essential.
In its current manifestation, Clay is steps 1-3 and Valley will get you to 4-6.
Clay allows you to create really solid prospect lists enriched with a bunch of data, but Valley will allow you to ingest that data and craft stronger messages. With only a ChatGPT integration, Clay’s messages aren’t the highest-performing.
Valley can also handle the responses, reengagements, meeting booking, reporting - Clay can’t do any of that.
Paired together, it’s a beautiful partnership. And then eventually, all you’ll need is Valley.
